Snowmobile rides

Syöte is a genuine junction of snowmobile tracks. Many snowmobile safaris start straight from your hotel/accommodation. Sign yourself in and enjoy a beautifull ride through the splendid snowcovered forest of Syöte, speed up on the frozen swamps and move your body when driving near trees and bushes. An experience you will never forget. You can drive a snowmobile yourself or take a seat as a passenger. Check the weekly program and select your snowmobile-adventure!

Long and short tracks are available; you can get to Syöte from Oulu along the official tracks and if you wish you can continue your journey to Kainuu, Koillismaa or Lapland. The snowmobile tracks of Pudasjärvi are mainly on the lands of Metsähallitus (a state enterprise that administers more than 12 million hectares of state-owned land and water areas), which means people from outside Pudasjärvi need a Metsähallitus licence to use them. You do not need a licence between Pudasjärvi and Ylikiiminki, because the track between the two is an official snowmobile track.
