RACE CAR DRIVING ON ICE ROAD

Location: Motor Sports Centre
Track: Length approx. 1.3 km, frozen track

- Opel Ascona (with Volvo technology)
-  Volvo 244
-  Ford Cosword (rear driven, V6 engine) 
- BMW 320 , Ford Sierra 4x4
All cars equipped with roll bars, race seats, six-point safety belts and studded tires.
Group size 3 to 8 people
Driving: Two cars, four laps per car. The last lap will be timed playfully so you can compare your result with your driving buddies. Price EUR 180 per person, including transport from Iso-Syötteen Matkailu to the motor sports centre (distance approx. 6 km), use of racing overalls, balaclava, helmet and gloves. The motor sports center has a warm space with tea, coffee and danish on offer.

Price EUR 90 per person (two ppl per snowmobile), children EUR 45 when with an adult. One person per snowmobile for an extra EUR 35. Price includes guided snowmobile safari with appropriate equipment (snowmobile, petrol, overalls, gloves, shoes, balaclava and helmet). Optional: stop at a campfire frying sausages or a coffee/tea break with sandwiches, additional cost EUR 5 per person.

Location Virkkunen reindeer farm
Virkkunen reindeer farm is located right by the road to Syöte, approximately 10 kilometers from Syöte. The oldest buildings in the farm date back to the 17th century, the main building being 200 years old. The historic value of the farm includes involvement in the Jäger Movement in the early days of Finland's independence.
Including: Transport from Iso-Syötteen Matkailu to Virkkunen reindeer farm and back. The owner of the farm will tell us about everyday life on a reindeer farm as well as reindeer husbandry. Visit to the reindeer and possibility to take a reindeer sleigh ride. Presentation of the farm history, coffee or tea and a smoked reindeer sandwich.
Duration 2 to 3 hours
Price EUR 55 per person (minimum of four people). If there are less than four participants the price and duration will be negotiated.

The sauna can be rented for private use. You can go swimming right outside the sauna, in the winter there is a hole in the ice. The sauna is a traditional one: there is no electricity and water is carried inside. The stove is made of slate stone with no mortar.
Our customers have loved the sauna, complimenting the soft heat.
